Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province with a population of more than 9 million, is the largest city in Shandong Province. There is a winding rural road in the southern mountainous area only dozens of kilometers away from Jinan City. In late autumn, the red leaves here are all over the mountains and the scenery is picturesque.

This channel is an eye opener for me. I'm blown away by how beautifully groomed and curated the vegetation along the roads are. There is a lot of attention to detail. Is this common across all of China? It seems to me that having beautiful and clean public spaces is important in the culture? Excellent channel, very interesting for me to watch these videos.

I found this video to be strange. The land looked very dry and unsuitable for growing but there were terraces. A mixture of very old use and then modern solar powered places. The autumn colours made it beautiful for photos but I wondered why people would now live here. Certainly a very different part of China for me. Very interesting thanks again.
