It is a social experiment in Toyota City.
The maximum speed is 65 Km / h.
Mileage is up to 50 km with one charge.

サスペンションが固く、重心はワリと高いのでカーブ中にアクセルベタ踏みするとすぐに空転します。公道を走れるカート感覚で乗ると楽しいです。ホロをある程度開けて走ると開放感があって良いですよ。車を持っていないので、雨の日に用事があるときはこれでよく出かけています。目的地のステーションで乗り捨てができるので、帰りは電車なんて使い方もできて便利です。

Yeah, but from the business perspective maintenance and interconnecting everything is easier if it is electric. It is also cooler for people since it's "new tech." Even if they made it run on gas it would be amazing since it would really have to use a motorcycle engine. Why put a whole 5000 pound gas chugging truck on the road to drive one king of a person when people can use one one of these simple and amazing 500 pound vehicles?

the entire point of this vehicle is to be electric one person vehicle to use within Tokyo, you ain't gonna run out of battery if for some reason you emptying it, you can just switch the car, it's short term rental vehicle anyway also electricity cost less than gas, so it makes sense in city
