Hi Cay! Thanks for another awesome message! I appreciate you being open, honest, and real. I know the feeling of falling away. Not reading the Bible for awhile causes us to stray a bit and if we're not careful, it's very easy to simply stop walking with God altogether. I have never lost my belief, but my faith has suffered and my relationship with Him has weakened. Every single time I stop reading Scriptures for a bit of time, I lose that connection with God. It's the Bible that keeps that connection alive. Hebrews 4:12 explains: For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Having researched in great detail for a speech when I was in school, if memory serves correctly, the Bible was written by 40 authors over a span of 1,500 years. It maintains an even flow, it all connects seamlessly, and the same God is made very obvious from beginning to end. There are no contradictions. For those who think there are, there only seems to be because of misinterpretation, lack of context, and in some cases just pure ignorance. Anyway, for some reason, this video got me thinking maybe I should do a video sharing my testimony. You did that awhile ago and it was awesome! Now I really want to do it too.... I love your videos! I don’t think there’s one I’ve not watched recently! Your optimism is contagious! God bless you! I think you should definitely share your testimony! Btw I recently got a new kitten named Maui! She’ll be at the end of a vlog I have to edit soon! I actually mentioned you when I was talking about Aspyn in a clip in it too! Haha! I struggle reading genesis to revelation so I got a one year bible. It breaks it down in 15 min increments. I recommend expressions one year bible on amazon. Really helped me.
