I relate to stepping outside of your comfort zone! My dad is a pastor so I grew up in ministry but I’m an introvert & I don’t like putting myself out there. I don’t do any public speaking. I’m fine with working behind the scenes & helping. My dad retired in July so now everything is different because our church & another church merged together & I recently joined the worship team. I am fine with singing, being on stage doesn’t bother me anymore when I am singing with a group but the thought of leading a song terrifies me! I am content with singing but not leading. But I am proud of myself for sticking with it even though I am uncomfortable at times. I just get really nervous when asked to sing by myself. I have anxiety really bad so I battle it everyday but I am leaning on God to help me overcome this challenge & perhaps one day I will lead a song. I don’t feel called to be a worship leader but I do feel called to help sing & support with my vocals. All my life I have had people tell me I should be doing this & that, that’s how it is growing up in ministry people have an opinion what you should be doing. But I tune it out & seek God’s voice above all. He made me how I am for a reason. Not everyone is called to be leaders, leaders need people to support them as well. I’m glad you are having a positive experience with leading your Bible study. Serving God isn’t always easy but it is always worth it. God bless you Madi!

Tbh I love this drive with me. I love that you are leading a Bible Study that sounds so awesome! My fiancé and I just got a newer car in October, a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek it has heated seats and I am so excited to take it on its first trip to Chicago for my next grad school interview.
