I really like all the references to previous videos In the first verse there’s this line: "Because I missed my train And there was only me to blame” Which is obviously the a reference to the opening of “everything I own” “I’m gonna miss my train It’s not until tomorrow But I need to be prepared for when there’s No one else to blame” Then at the the end, they list off a series of characters, which are all references to previous videos: “There’s a bona fide director” Reference to sloppy jarnt, which shows a film director at the end "A garbage inspector” Pretty sure that’s a reference to the TikTok “what’s for dinner” “A dinner-plate collector” This line is more clear, it’s a reference to “To Do Bricks” which has a set of magical plates "There’s even a slime dissector” I think that’s a reference to “I’m at the beach today, which has Drive45 playing with slime "There’s a Talking swamp rat Who loves to call and chit-chat” That’s a more obvious reference to "everything can be a little better” which has a swamp rat named Curtis the Coypu who calls in Drive45’s hotline and talks for way too long

Drive45 helped me through the worst depressive period of my entire life. I’m not someone who ever says “your music saved my life”, but quite literally I wouldn’t be alive today if it weren’t for Drive45. They didn’t necessarily save me lol, but they absolutely showed me a different side of music and, by-proxy, a different side of life. I will forever be grateful for that❤️
