Martim Alves de Lima I spoke a little too soon. The graphics and the sense of speed is incredible. Moreover the attention to detail for a racing game is superb. But it's a boring game. A really boring game that proves graphics and effects don't make a game great. But I'm excited to see a Burnout out or Grid racing game with these graphics because the team that made this game is now working for Code masters. That's a great combo because Code masters make fun racing games and these Driveclub guys know their effects and graphics so I can bet if there is a part 2, it might give Forza a good rivalry.

Practice makes perfect, I never drifted before in any race game but I do manage to level up at a slow phrase.

Actually most of the tracks are circuits. There's 6 territories and each one has 2 point to point stages, and they all have reverse layouts too. So basically 24 point to point stages out of the 69 total layouts. Not all tracks have reverse layouts though, but some do have alternate configurations. There's actually a ton of track in the game and it's very hard to learn even half of them let alone them all. That's what keeps it fun and challenging because the AI is no joke, and it doesn't cheat (AKA Rubber banding) There are also a lot of time trial and drift events as well so it's not just racing either.

Not even close. The Ariel Atom is the most difficult, and the Venom GT is much tougher to drive than this as well. Not to mention the Agera R which is like this car but much less grip.

This game is so much fun! It is a lot better now after the updates, patches and DLCs. No comparison to what it was on release. Very challenging, driving feels great and new cars and tracks are being added every month, easily 9/10 for me.

The1nOnly exactly. Out of all the games that try to be inbetween a simulation, and an arcade racer, this is the best one. And it also has the best offline racing of any game in years. Best AI also.

Hugo Stiglitz Agreed! There are so many things I love about this game, one being the sound. Oh my god, I fell in love with this game the first 5 minutes I played. People need to stop judging a game by how it looks on a YoutTube video and actually play it themselves so they can actually have a logical response to give.

The1nOnly Yea I got it on day 1 when the online wasn't working, and that was the last thing on my mind. The online isn't what makes this game great, it's the racing. It's an underrated game and Evo deserve more credit It would be cool if they get to make Driveclub 2 and turn it into open world maybe.

Empty, and no fun? It's the exact opposite, friend. Play it for yourself, don't take the word of what some company who was probably paid to say it was bad has to say. This game is awesome! :)

Twisted_Tempest the rocks and surroundings look like they could have been rendered on ps2. the crowd looks like early ps3 and it's all on ps4 (not living up to the possibilities). the textures of the car interiors in FP mode is also lacking texture finesse, and are very simmilar to GTA5 textures which is of course an open world gameplay with perfectly smooth transitions from walking to driving, so they could have focused on finetuning those... i don't know about the overall playability, but by the looks of it, I would always go for granturismo 6 on ps3 rather than this game on ps4.

Who really cares about rocks and surroundings when you're racing? They're background stuff that you're flying past! Same with the crowd, they don't even need to be there! The interiors in first person are nailed to the smallest detail! I've never seen a game that gets it so spot on! You're spending practically all of your time in the car, so transitions aren't really a thing at all. But at the end of the day, each to their own. I'm not gonna tell you to like it. I mean, Gran Turismo and Driveclub are two completely different games, after all, so play what you enjoy. All I'm saying is that make a judgement based on what you like, and not on what a money-biased company says. :)

I am aiming for the best overall gaming experience. Granturismo always made me feel like i was actually racing, not playing a racing game. I compared the two because both games emphasise on their cars driving and sounding ingame exactly how they would sound in real life which i expect from my racing games. And still i say the FP mode doesn't make me feel as if i actually had a photo of the car on my screen, it all feels as if it was rendered from a computer, and ps4 is a potent enough console to support all of this. I'm not calling the game bad, because i am sure the playability must be epic, i am just saying that the game could have focused on all these things while still not jeopardising gameplay
