The injury that he had during that season ruined his career, Not the injury itself, but coming back and seeing that you lost your linemates and your spot on the roster... When you're this young it's tough, and he really wasnt the same after that. If it wasnt from that injury he would probably be still top 6 in montreal and radulov would still be in montreal too. Dallas should offer him a contract, see if they can get those 2 working together again

I agree. If not Dallas then Maybe Ottawa or Edmonton, since he seems to do well when he is a certified important piece

This was also the season he had the domestic abuse from his wife; and Bergevin blamed him for it.

If he's wasn't injured he probably would of gotten 30 goals and 60-70 points

Yup and so would Radulov who would have been resigned, then Sergachev would not have been traded and Price's terrible contract would have never been possible because of cap space. His injury changed everything.

They better not trade this guy, he would be dynamite with a playmaker like Drouin. Given he stays consistent and healthy he has real potential to score 35-40 goals

i know he is good but i wouldnt trade anisimov for him. Hawks need a big bodied center, they cant be all small.

Uhm, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Boston, Detroit, all had smaller Cs than Galchenyuk when they won? Not that Galchenyuk is as good as Crosby, Malkin, Toews, Bergeron, or Datsyuk. Not even close. But centers don't have to be *that* big. All those guys are amazing, have won cups, and are roughly Galchenyuk's size or smaller. 5'11-6'3/185-220lbs is like prototypical elite center size.
