This sermon brought me to tears for so long I thought I was a slave to sin but I'm not just because I'm human doesn't make it an excuse god died so that I can pursue a holy life I don't have to cleave to this world anymore a big burden feels like it's been lifted off my shoulder know I feel like I can do anything now for god alone I'm free!!!

Doesn't seem dry to me, seems heartfelt and honest and very well thought out. I was blessed by listening to it. Bishop Jakes has a different style, but it's about substance and this message has real substance. Some people will "hear" that better from T D Jakes, others will be reached by this young man - but the two men are preaching the same substance. Praise God for them both!

I really needed this. what a blessing this was. I feel like I been chasing an unfulfilled dream for a long time. I love what i do and am constantly wanting to be better better better. I recently realized just how much of my personal self worth is tied into how good i am at what i do and wanting acceptance. Yet i still feel empty when i think I got some acceptance. its never enough. its like walking in circles all to please people that are just as lost and unhappy. thank you for this.

Fist let me say that this was a great sermon, I can see the point of wearing a suit to church and to preach because its in reverence to god, its like if you are going to meet your boss your not going to go in just regular clothes your going to want to look your best... With that being said this is an awesome sermon regardless of what he is wearing.

I'm struggling as a person with disability about just how it is I am supposed to get to church on a regular basis~! In my small town, it is usually an inconvenience to commit to helping consistently in this manner.

I love music and love playing my bass, so I do it for my school and church worship teams. I love it because that's one of my passions that God gave me, and I use it for Him. I don't have to, but I choose to. He didn't just give you a bunch of stuff for the sole purpose of you giving it back. He gave you stuff because He wanted to outstretch His hand to you so you would love Him. He doesn't need your money or talents or accomplishments. He just wants you. If I haven't made it clear tell me.
