i heard you guys say it has an 80amp ESC, and maybe they have changed things since recording this video, but it now has a 120amp esc. Great review none the less.

Looks like a great truck! I got a blackout before and was not impressed... But, it was only 149, for the brushed model. I upgraded to brushless it it really couldnt handel it. This teuck looks alot better... The 3 gear diffs is gonna be great! The blackout had no center diff or slipper! Alot of diff gears ciped teeth off before I gave up! Good video!

Try the red cat Blackout 4x4 . I always wanted to see how it runs.

Good to see that they changed the chassis design. My backdraft 8e, buggy version of this truck came with the front of the chassis being plastic. Other than that I beat the crap out of that thing. Really may look into this truck.

You guys should review the Helion Animus. I have one and it is a great 1/18 scale truck.

Careful with this truck. I have one and the first time I ran it, I had a “runaway” issue. It’s becoming fairly often now. Its a fun truck no doubt but there is a slim chance of this thing making itself a kamikaze to anything that will break it.

Can you or someone answer a question on batteries for this? I have seen several videos on here where they say the landslide can take up to 3s and 4s. Now does that mean I can put 2-3s or 2-4s batteries in this? Redcat finally answered me back and they said putting in 2-3s or 2-4s batteries in this would be way too much and I would probably burn up the esc. Redcat said 4s means 2-2s batteries....is that true? They also recommended only putting hard case batteries in this or other cars and to stay away from soft case batteries. Just got my landslide and a volcano eps pro a few days ago and bought 2-2s batteries, but wanted an extra set of batteries for both cars, (I know the volcano only takes one), so I always had an extra set charged to swap out. I asked redcat about info about n both vehicles battery capabilities and they said to watch KZfaq videos. I just seem to be missing the videos where people are explaining these cars batteries limits and battery types/info in general. So, can anyone answer these questions or point me in the right direction about the max batteries that these two vehicles can handle and recommended oil for everything? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's good on turns because it's low and wide,but on hard open dirt it's to stiff and its heavy wait makes it bounce hard and to much and losses speed. A buddy has one. We have short competition course races against Maker's like Trexx,Armma,losi. It's smaller brother the Volcano pro dose much better normally takes 3rd place on first run from out of 12-14 runner's. It's bigger brother the Rampage also dose better. Something about it's wait and shock suspension just isn't rite. At least from what we have seen.
