That's how I got with heavy rain and hurricanes living in Florida. When Irma came through years ago I just slept in the closet, waking up every few hours to flip off my window and telling to to get over with it already.

@@FurryWrecker911 I use thunderstorm videos on KZfaq to sleep better,. So that might have helped me sleep through the whole thing. I will say,. When I woke up that day, I felt like I slept really good that night🤣

Every storm system has a tornado watch in the South. Tornadoes in any given location are extremely rare.

Don't ever come to Texas. I wish I could leave this garbage place. I miss living in the San Francisco Bay Area in Summer 2019. It was the most beautiful place I had ever been to. The scenery was amazing next to the ocean.

@@baneverything5580 I hope it doesn't happen to me. I usually treat tornadic storms as such, and if my area is in the line of the storm I tend to get to a place of shelter until it blows over

@@seanhettenbach2101 I had my handheld police scanner with me driving to the store in Mansfield Louisiana when a tornado warning was issued below me in Sabine Parish. I warned the store owner and she checked the TV and radar showed it heading directly towards us. I got caught in the edge of it heading back to Logansport. I just floored the truck going 90 mph with side winds of over 100 mph hitting me and made it out the other side after being pushed part of the way off highway 84. My dad was picked up in a tornado on Interstate 20 in Texas and carried through the air 200 yards before hitting the ditch still going forward about 80 mph bending the frame of the same Chevy S-10 truck but we still drove it.
