Safety needs to address what the false critical events will trigger on the camera. I get 4 to 5 almost everyday twice a day at the same spots. 3 are from tree limbs on the fog line on curves. 1 is from an overpass shadow and 1 sometimes from a sign that leans toward the road. Plus numerous collision warnings when nothing is there.

This is another way the cameras will help. We will have video proof that that critical event was false and can remove it. I would suggest that if it is triggering many false events in a day, it might need to be calibrated. I would contact your Fleet Manager and the shop to get this done.

Prime wasted 4 months of my life. I'm a tnt driver with only a few thousand miles left. Not only am I NOT in the division I want to be in I was NOT informed that cameras were in their immediate future. I feel betrayed..At the very least!!!

Insurance companies are going to end up forcing cameras across the board for all trucking companies before it’s over with. Insurance companies control the industry.

I’m not sure what the fuss is. But then again, I drove city buses for quite a while so maybe I’m already used to cameras in the driver’s cab. Please share your concern, I’d love to hear it.
