Driver: San Francisco is an action-adventure racing video game and the fifth installment in the Driver series. Developed by Ubisoft Reflections and published by Ubisoft, it was released in September 2011 for the PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows, with an edition for Mac OS X in March 2012.

I played this game on Xbox 360 back when it came out, I now play it on Xbox Series S with backwards compability, it’s definitely better but I think the PC version has the best graphics and effects, in my opinion.

Replaying on xbox makes me believe the PC version was supposed to look close to console, but that they decided not 2 PC was delayed to release after consoles, so it may of been something along the way?

The Wii game was the shit for me as a kid when i didnt have a playstation like my cousin. And when i figured out i could use a second controller to use a gun…. Bro it was nonstop gameplay for me.

You do realize Xbox runs at a higher resolution then PlayStation? Not only that the lighting is better on Xbox. I prefer PlayStation but in this instance Xbox is better

@@newbreedzorro204 yeah 9 times out of 10 people recommend PS3 versions out of being a fanboy. It was pretty rare a PS3 version was superior and usually that’s cause of a bad 360 conversion or a team actually understood the PS3 architecture which is also rare lol. Even Sony themselves had a hard time taking full advantage of the difficult architecture

@@gex581990 You are correct but as somehow who has been playing the PS3 version I must say you really can't go wrong with either the PS3 or 360 version, they are essentially the same. However, if you can play the 360 version through BC I would go with that option.

PC wins for contrast, colour, blacks and detail but the XBox 360 port is still really impressive. Better then the PS3 port which looks a little washed out.

The PC version looks awful lmfao what are you on about? PC version has very little anti-aliasing on the shadows, the feel of the original version (Xbox 360) is gone and just looks garbage but I get it you only know about the game from Nick Robinson and pirated the PC version and since it's the first version you played you think it's the best

I always considered DSF to be in the style of an old action film, e.g. Bulitt, which used very nice colour choices, though the blacks were washed out by quite a bit. The PC version on the other hand, looks like it came out of Unity 4.0.

@@beyond_5dtemp Xbox 360 shaders are now completely restored via a mod on the PC version, with it ability to go 4K/120 fps, it destroys any version. "Anti-aliasing on shadows" never heard such a thing, it's just called shadow resolution, stop acting like a nerd while you obviously don't know sh*t about what you're saying, and just for the info, shadow resolution is the same across all platforms (expect Wii) And for what it worth, even though the PC version has different shaders and lacks some effects, it's not always for the worse, the fact it lacks the annoying film grain effect from the console version is a big win for most people with a functional brain
