This hits home, I had someone in my car yesterday that smelled like shit, I almost kicked them out and ended the ride but they were going towards my destination and they were dressed well and spoke fine, but by the time he got out my car permanently smelled like poop and shit for two days

Oh I was feeling that first girl. I once bought these green corduroy overalls in middle school because it was the whole Chris Cross Era and I wanted to be cool. Not only did I sound like windshield wipers scraping all day as I walked but they smelled so strong of burnt match sticks!! It was so embarrassing when I realized the smell was me..and ppl asked if the pants were lighting on fire from rubbing together 😂🤣😢😑 Yaaaa they went in the trash.

Ed I need to see that back seat after that girl was done it with it man... Can't even fathom the amount of restraint you had to say as little as you did! Dealing with a bunch of drunk, what look like teenagers to me, is bad enough let alone one actually getting vomit on the inside of your car! Damn!

I totally know what you mean about the difference between hard work or heat sweat versus someone who hasn't bathed in a month and has been wearing the same unwashed T-shirt for the same amount of time. I used to date this woman who was into jogging, I always found her scent when she came back from a long run kinda hot. Not so much the guy I used to work with at a car wash when I was a teenager, he smelled soooo bad.

I was an uber driver once, did about 1200 trips and I can confirm most of the smelly people are male teenagers or older men who just left the bar. It's a disgusting job because people will throw up in your car and it wont be a one time experience. You will have tons of nice people but you're guaranteed to have rude aggressive and entitled passengers. If you try to mask the smell of your trips with car fresheners people will let you know they are too strong. It's a small space and you're constantly in control of the temperature and smell that builds up throughout the job.

There used to be a newspaper delivery person who would runny poop in a bag on the back road of my property. I mean it was like a serial poopers dumping ground back there. So disgusting. I finally put a 5 gallon bucket and a roll of tp in a coffee can back there and they got the hint. The old bags were quickly gone and ever so often the bucket would disappear (I assume it was full) and I'd put out another. I mean it's just woods but they are MY woods, we all have our dignities... They clearly had a medical problem and were still devoted to their job, I respected the hustle just not the mess. Still way better than a homeless/drug encampment, LOL. :)

What about weed? I don’t smoke and I hate the smell of weed, vape, cigarettes, whatever. I get people who don’t even have to light up for me to smell weed on them. Literally cannot breathe without second hand smoke when there’s no one smoking at the time. I get asked if I smoke because my car smells like it after these types of passengers.

I have never done this to an Uber that's terrible. Actually in my area Uber is really bad so I use Lyft and the black car options the most. Last one I was in had the sweetest lady driving. In one of the nicest cars I've seen. Anyone who has done this to your car shouldn't be allowed in one again. I once spilled something in a Uber long ago that WASN'T smelly and gave them an extra tip! Yes that girl should've paid more......

Get yourself a Bissel Little Green upholstery cleaner. It comes with this pet stain cleaner that has oxi clean in it, not that oxi clean is some magic cleaner, but, it does work. Then, you can spray vinegar at the end of it and let it dry, and your seats will be spotless, with ease my friend. And what's nice, one charge for cleaning pays for enough cleaner and the machine, youll never need to buy cleaner for a few years LOL.

that smell stuff is the reason I got one of them water protectant seat covers that is initally used for animals but it protected my old car, from them .....human fluids lmfao

When people ask me what the worst part of this job is, I tell them it's stinky people. Damn they smell bad for all those reasons and more.
