As visceral and engaging as this is, as an first hand experience, after watching the Velocity gear you've posted, I have so much appreciation for those who have driven, the louder gear! The S Class with the "Roots Blown" -"shut the doors on this one Maxy" supercharged gear, must have been an nightmare.

Vlocity units are nice but it is great to drive the locomotives. N class on passenger trains or S, C, T etc on heritage, it's all enjoyable 👍😀

What a trip . I lived in Bendigo for quite a while and catch the train to Melbourne . After the tunnel at big hill it would break in to open farm land , there is a lot of regrowth blocking the view now .

Seeing as this was a video from Victoria, I made sure to pronounce Castlemaine as Cas-sel and not Cah-Sel... or am I thinking of NSW? Anyhow, great trip. :)

What are the lines on either side as you leave Bendigo? Are they stabling yards for the V/Lo’s? And or loops for freight trains also?
