Dude, I have watched lots of M50i videos before and after buying our 2020 M50i last year with only 5000 miles on it and somehow I missed yours before now. Well done! Personally I think our non air suspension is fine because although my wife and I are older than dirt(76)we do not mind having some feel for the road surface we are traveling on. We think it helps to keep us sharp and not fooled into some kind of Cloud 9 heavenly driving experience which at our age could make us fall asleep with bad consequences thereafter. We have owned 5 BMW's over the past few decades and so far have loved every one of them. Our car has all the bells and whistles like Driver Assistance Pro and at our age stuff like that is a terrific. Thanks! PS Regarding the exhaust note I think it is ridiculous how people can make a car buying decision based on an exhaust sound that they only hear when they start up the car in their garage and occasionally when they stomp on the gas pedal, when passing other cars. Weird. Of course it is of supreme importance if you own a Harley-Davidson motorcycle then, of course, exhaust sound is of major importance. 🤣🤣🤣

I have been driving one of these for a year and a half. You can set up so that the top and bottom open together and as another person commented - you can close both at the same time - it does not get confused! I have also optioned the air suspension - its really plush and super comfortable. I have set up individual sports to have everything the same as comfort except the suspension - which I keep in sport. This is still super comfortable but not so floaty - I prefer this when on my own- the family love the floaty feeling the air suspension provides

The X5 rear hatch and tailgate are called the clam shell. Because the top and bottom closes together like a clam shell. Just a little info in case you didn't know. 🤗

6:23 if you close the top part of the tailgate first, they will both close automatically. So you were wrong in that aspect.
