Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Our world needs Him now more than ever. In Italy today, weary distraught former atheist doctors prayed for help. Similar realizations of what Life is really all about are now happening worldwide. A world stopping “event” is having a profoundly spiritual effect. This is excellent. I'm so happy this showed up in my recommendations. My father used to try to give me the historical context of the Trial when I was a kid, but I always wanted to "see" these places so I could visualize them as an adult. (I guess you can blame the Bible for making me a history nut) You've done a wonderful job. 🙂

"I Am", was the name given to Moses on Mt. Sinai, and these words leaving Jesus's lips were supernatural causing a physical power to shock those that came to arrest him. Much gratitude to DTH for these labors of love.

Love love all these programs * I usually watch on tv through youtube where I am unable to hit the like button. But here on my pc I can "like" I see that there are not many likes; however, that is probably because they are watching and "like"ing (or loving) and NOT ABLE to HIT THE BUTTON on the FORMAT in which they are watching.

I love the 'Drive Thru History' series, and we own many of the DVDs. That said, I do have a question, in Exodus 3, when God refers to himself as 'I AM,' isn't that the Hebrew verb form of 'to be' and not YHWH? I thought YHWH came from Exodus 6:3 when God tells Moses, “But by My name LORD (YHWH) I was not known to them” (Ex. 6:3 NKJV).

Those old paintings are so inaccurate. Peter was a young man when he walked with the Christ. You don’t have to have chickens in the courtyard in order to hear the rooster crow. They always make Jesus look like he is a Swedish mystic. They never have the women in the upper room even though they were there. They never show the women in any paintings except Mary at the tomb. Mary and other women followed the Lord and the disciples in their travels in order to minister to his needs.

When Jesus asked who do you seek, He answered "Iam" (not "I am he" - the 'he' was added by the translators). Immediately the guards fell to the ground (Luke 18: 5-8). Why? They expected this fellow to be stuck by lightning because he called himself "I am!" God's name!

So how is that Jesus and his disciples ate Passover the night before he was crucified but the Jews ate Passover on the evening of the Crucifixion? And what day of the week was Jesus crucified. The Christian world celebrates Friday as the day of crucifixion. But that cannot be as there are not 3 days and 3 nights between Friday afternoon and Sunday before dawn.
