On 24th Dec, I picked up a Honda City from Phuket Airport. And on 4th Jan I dropped the car in Suvarnabhumi Airport. No one way drop charges! During this tenure, it costed me 10,880 THB. Another 3000 THB for full cover insurance, commonly called SCDW. Company was Hertz! It was a lovely 2000kms driving experience! And I love such western style driving. Upon returning, feelings so difficult driving here! Anyway, glad to see you back in Thailand❤

Bro, love your videos. Just a quick one.. Would you recommd to drive from Bangkok to Phuket in one stretch? I am decent driver in Indian conditions. Is there a city in between I should consider exploring or staying overnight? Please advise.

Thanks bro! You can easily do in one stretch! If you can manage to drive for 10-12 hours. I can hence I do all these long road trips. Road conditions are perfect so not much a hassle. You can do Sam roi yot beach overnight or just drive all the way up to Phuket. You can checkout Pha Nga bay (dont miss it) if you plan to drive yourself

Hi! If you take expressway, you will pay tolls. But its usually till the outskirts of Bangkok. And yes, you can pay by Cash.

Hi! No, you need to have an international permit. If police stops you, they can fine. If not stopped, you are good to go. 😅

Hi! Its the simple one. Just stay in your lane and only change when needed. Right for overtaking and move in correct lane on intersection. You can easily rent forza or xmax in Chiang Mai but cost is high..
