Been there with a gooseneck trailer hub, oil-bath hub was run dry, out side bearing was welded together, the rollers wear welded onto the outer bearing race, and the tire ha 3/4 full tread left on it, it was drug until the tire had a 1 1/2 long hole in the flat spot of the tire, was a mess inside, took me 2 days working on it to get it done. Christmas tree farm worker, I was hired out to fix it because their mechanic didn’t want to do it, but I got my money’s worth:)
