The engines in the r53/r50 aren’t that bad they’re just limited due to their simple design. Having the power of v tec and a k20 or k24 blows my mind. Couldn’t imagine the feeling of that while driving

Im using original oil pan but i threw in an oil baffle in there by Blox. I just spaced the subframe a bit and cut the hood. Your correct. Rwd oil pans are expensive.

@@pmpworx7331 Would it be terribly difficult or expensive to do a NA k20 swap. I own a r50 and might be in the market for a new engine soon so I’m considering a k20 swap from a type s rsx. Also is a new ecu required or trans. I was wondering if the stock 6 speed would fit up because my r50 has a 04+ 6 speed swapped in already.

Treat it as a regular honda swap. You will need patience and time.

Its the ram horn style. Everyone uses the sidewinder but I like this fitment better. It’s harder to make the exhaust have a 3 inch downpipe but I made it work by doing a two piece design.

All motor k24 can give you 250ish HP. Pipe is not drony.

Little harder than I prefer but not too bad. Slave is the honda cylinder. Master is the oem mini. Stage 4 competition clutch. Stage 1 was the beat buy would not hold the power after the turbo setup. If i were to put in another clutch I would probably use stage 3.

Correct. Under the passenger seat where the factory unit is located. The nav tool is a piggy back system. It allows you to add inputs. I also have an input for reverse camera or a gaming console aka video input. The audio is carried through an aux if needed.

Bought them on ebay shipped to nj np. 16x8 30 offset. They fit fine and even clear my jcw gen 1 calipers.
