To all the negative posts in this clip, I am sorry that you feel this way. I lived in York from Dec. 1985 to Feb. 2000, at which time it was time for me to return to my native Illinois as my folks were getting on in years and needed my help. I found York to be an interesting place to live, filled with lots of history and charming architecture as well as a lot of good people to associate and be friends with. I found lots of things to do both in the immediate area and much, much more to see and do within roughly a 100 mile radius. In those 14+ years I never got close to taking in as much as there is to see and do. No place on earth is perfect, or for that matter safe. What might be a safe place that has a low crime rate most likely has areas that are prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes, tornados, floods, etc. There's shootings almost everywhere in the USA, affluent cities and neighborhoods included. Until America cleans up its act and does something to alleviate the mess it's in with guns, drugs and violence, as well as people not treating each other with dignity and respect, the American people everywhere will continue to suffer. I suggest that as a nation, we need to look for solutions to end all the violence and disparities among people. Look for the positives and good in people as well as what your community has to offer, not the negatives. Work on trying to eliminate the negatives. Do not forget that we could be living in a war torn area of the world, or an area where dictators rule. We could be living in countries that have little to no natural resources and have almost no way of supporting its people. I do not want to harp on lecturing but after reading these 3 short paragraphs, you should be able to understand what I'm trying to say. No doubt we have lots of problems that are difficult to address, but the USA has been able to solve many problems in the past and survives today. Let's try to keep our country united and strong.

I've been to York a couple times, I was out there in 1994 to renew my my drivers license , they were so good to me, I did the permit and drivers test all with in less than an hour, and walked out with a brand new license

I lived in York county, PA from 2010 to 2014. Most of the people who live there are rude, mean, and two-faced. There was a surprising amount of drug addicts and criminals. The roads are horrible and most of the buildings look like crap. There was nothing fun to do there and there weren't a lot of jobs when I was there. Glad I don't live there anymore.

The beginning half of this video is not York PA, it's West York which has a different Mayor, police and everything. The second half is York aka Shit Town. Raised in York unfortunately and now live just outside it. The house I rent out is in the beginning half of this video, most likely selling it though around July or August when the current tenants lease is up. Like several people I know are in this video and I'll share this to them. Oh and York is a terrible place to live, very high crime rate, constantly shootings happening daily and lots of drugs. West York (not York) which is the beginning half of the video isn't bad, but it's getting bad.
