This 1.5 hour drive starts at USC Campus and makes its way down Figueroa Blvd. It then makes its way to Staples Center, City hall, Alvera Street, Disney Concert Hall, The Broad, Bradbury Building, Central Market, Union Station and numerous other Downtown LA landmarks. You may recognize many scenes from many movies including Inception and Dark Knight as Christoper Nolan and other directors likes to use the city in place of other cities.

Thanks for this. I did a similar drive a few weeks ago, but about two hours later than you did. I started off by crossing the new new 6th street viaduct going West.

very interesting, i recognise the scene where they filmed the hi-jacking of the armoured car scene in the pacino/de niro movie HEAT .. under the 3 freeway bridges after ypou pass staples

DTLA has more people living in it now than it has had in the last 100 years. Tons of residential buildings have been built over the last 15 years and it continues. And many historic office buildings have been converted into residential residences too.

KZfaq doesn't support 8k or dolby vision, so why is this information on the video? The quality of the video is amazing anyway...

Thank you for watching Doni! KZfaq has supported 8K depending on your device since 2020. So if you have the right kind of high end TV, android device or PC that supports it u can watch on 8k. See: www.tomshardware.com/news/8k-content-getting-closer. The content was mastered in Dolby Vision using Dolby vision equipment and process which already makes the quality higher than most videos out there. The original video files also retains the Dolby vision dynamic metadata that KZfaq may fully transcode in the future similarly to how youtube decided to support 8K in 2020. Have a relaxing day!

Yes Downtown LA is a place where alot of people work but they don't really live there like in other city centers.

@@Relaxing.Scenes.Driving That's been changing drastically over the last 15 year. If you drive around at 8pm you see people walking all over the place and eating out, etc. At this hour people are not yet home and the people who work in DTLA are leaving.

There are 4 million people in the city proper and 18 million in the greater LA metro area. It isn’t empty or desolate lol. It has more people than your little ass city, I bet

❌❌❌. I watched different videos about America, and apart from New York, there are empty streets everywhere. Where have all the people gone in other cities? it's bad for the economy. empty offices, no one is doing business.
