Driving from Downtown Los Alamos to Los Alamos Middle School

Here is the drive from downtown Los Alamos to Los Alamos Middle School. As you can see, the middle school is one of three schools in Los Alamos that received new buildings, the other two being Los Alamos High School and Aspen Elementary School.

Grew up in Los Alamos in the late 90s through 2002. Amazing place to live. Now living in Texas. Hope to visit again soon

Really fun to watch ! You are so awesome for doing this... I am nostalgic for Los Alamos because so much of my personal mythology comes from the definitive years i spent there... (seems like a million years ago and a million miles away)

Ok... so I'm moving from Monument Colrado... uh... I guess if it was such a whimsical experience I do have to ask did the constant notion of "WE'RE THE TOWN OF THE ATOMIC BOMB" drive you nuts... because honestly I'd rather not think about melting people every time I go to work.

Stag Dragon A stupid stigma pushed by stupid people who have no basic understanding of research and laboratories. You are seriously an idiot if you think melting people is 1) what actually happens, 2) what we think about, and 3) what we do. You ever heard of bioscience and technological advancements in almost anything? Yeah, that’s what we’re doing here.

In 1990 I worked at the hardware store there I miss Los Alamos.

Thank you so much for this video. It brought tears to my eyes literally driving down memory lane. I haven't been home since I graduated Cumbres Jr. High in 1982 and LAHS in 1985. So much has changed over the years yet still remains strong. Thank you again . ., . . any chance you might do a tour of downtown White Rock?

downtown Los Alamos looks nice. you still have some snow. it looks slightly used snow. what is taught in the new building? new hs building looks great. batteries are cheaper than the cameras they power. your roads survived the snow. excellent new ms building.

We had a big snowstorm at the end of February, but because temperatures got significantly warmer, most of the snow has melted already. And this video was recorded in January.
