Selinsgrove is a nice small town and they have done a nice job of keeping their downtown area spruced up. The section of US 11-15 between Selinsgrove and Sunbury is a busy retail corridor for that area of Central PA and sometimes is crowded. Sunbury is the home of Weis Markets and the Weis Market at approximately 11:25 may have been their first store but I am not positive about that. This trip went through Snyder and Northumberland Counties. Sunbury is the county seat of Northumberland County.

My family is from Sunbury and still live out there in an old old farmhouse. Remember Weis markets, Teaberry Ice cream, potato chips in a can and the beautiful countryside.

I moved away from Selinsgrove 20 years ago as a kid and haven't been back. I was expecting a town that would be almost unrecognizable but it hasn't really changed much at all.
