I doubt if the southern bypass will ever be built, too many forests to be cut down, which does not correspond to the "Green"- despite the planned tunnels, also NIMBY from the side of Grunwald or other places. It remains to push between the A96 and A995 through the always crowded B2R - the more that I live on the A95 and the lack of alternatives - I avoid cheaply designed tunnels with tight connectors. I have nothing against marked speed cameras additionally, but drivers slowing down in front of them for no reason cause more traffic jams -.- In addition, the daily limit on the A995 has just been lifted

All the tunnels on the Mittler Ring look impressive but have little (long term) effect on traffic. Are they still planning a tunnel at the Englisher Garten part? Or the Western section south of Donnersberg bridge?

Yes for the B2R part certainly, Autobahn parts maybe not. The A99 Ring should be fine. It's not that expensive and makes sense to buy anyway if you are in Germany regularly 🙂
