@@Omwvlog The reasons are numerous & very well known but mostly it has been the attitudes I encountered everywhere. I like plenty of cities: New York, Seattle, Denver, San Diego. Outside the US, I've been to London, Edinburgh, Prague, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver & Halifax, all very nice. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. It has been disheartening to discover over the years that many foreign cities are much more livable than many large US cities. But LA is a pit. The cold attitude or artificial friendliness disgusted me. They pretend to be laidback but have no real understanding of the concept. They are plastic, dull & stupid for the most part. The traffic is epic, the food is boring (Latin or Asian) & the climate seldom varies. All anyone talks about is Hollywood, cars & parties.
