DRIVING My Zenvo on the NURBURGRING!?

We're at the Nurburgring with my Zenvo TSR-S, and it's absolute chaos! Welcome to Easter Weekend in the Eifel Mountains, and the carnage that comes with it, especially when we've brought out three of the Shmeemobiles. However,
After driving it last week in Denmark, the TSR-S has been collected by Turbo Transport in Praesto, and transported to Nurburg for the Easter Weekend, often known as Car Freitag, where many thousands of enthusiasts descend upon the region. We've also continued the drive out with the AMG GT Black Series, and now joined as well by the Ferrari 296 GTS that was delivered out in advance.
Today though, we're going to unload the Zenvo and head over to Vulcan Alpha, the new engineering business of my friend @mgcharoudin and a fantastic team that you know well from his channels. We'll take a look around their new facility and understand what's going on behind the scenes, as well as the plans for the future. You can also follow plenty more updates at @mgcharoudin2
The big question though, is when will I drive the Zenvo TSR-S on the famous Nordschleife, and why haven't I yet? By far the best way to answer that question is on video from the Ring itself, where I can show you the risks that would be taken during this particular weekend, and hopefully how we can set something up for the future.

I get the fact you don’t want to drive the zenvo on the ring, makes perfect sense. Dealing with loads of near misses with idiots in e36 m3s in your £1.5m + car would not be enjoyable. BUT please don’t put a video description making it seem like it has been round the ring…that’s a bit clickbait-y

I do watch Tim’s videos, not absolutely all of them but nearly all of his recent uploads. Have been following his videos since 2014. Only recently these ‘clickbaity’ descriptions have been used

I hear you! Looking back, every single 'lap' video ever on the channel has had a thumbnail showing the car on track, so I think it's quite obvious the thumbnail is not on track. Either way, let's hope an event lines up in future where we can give it a go! Thanks for your support

@@Shmee150 I mean yeahhh…but I see the zenvo, I see the description and I’m like ‘ah he’s done a lap decent’ and after getting a few mins into the video I’m like ‘ah no he hasn’t’. I’m not going to scrutinise the thumbnail, I wouldn’t have a clue that all ring laps include a thumbnail photo of the car on track so I got clickbaited effectively which is a bit annoying. I enjoyed the video anyway and as I say it makes perfect sense why it wouldn’t go round the ring right now but yeah when i saw the video description I was like ‘yes finally see that thing in anger’🫤

The reasons you gave for not taking the Zenvo around the ring this weekend definitely don't make you a wuss Tim, they make you a very smart guy! We all enjoy any Zenvo content you share with us. Just seeing it on screen is great, no need to take risks with it just for views. Keep it up, cheers

Thanks for the explanation on why you haven't done a lap with the Zenvo yet. Seems reasonable. Hope you will get the track for yourself one day. I'm sure everybody wants to know whether thatn hydraulic rear-spoiler is an advantage , or if it's just for show. Should you ever get the chance, please be careful.

I love the start of the video. I watched it a couple of times. I got to love a sense of humour about that Auris Hybrid going a track. I had owned exactly the same Auris Hybrid e15 Gen 1 in Titannium Black for the past 3 years. I can't say that it isn't fast enough for a city car 😂 It is more than enough to overtake a Gen 3 Prius with the same engine of the traffic light. I would love to see how it perfoms on the ring. Hope to see you on Petrolheadism at Wembley. Great video, as usual. It is nice to see Misha on another YT channel.

No Tim you're not a woos you're a man using your brain ! We get it , there are too many heroes out there that'll be like ohh a Zenvo on the track I'll rev him up for a race ! You've come too far to lose one of your babies to someone else being careless ! I know I won't be popular for saying this, but IMO the Zenvo is the worst car Tim owns. Yes it looks crazy, sounds mental and goes stupidly quick. But that's all very well and good if you can use it. Given the rarity, and value of the thing I'm sure there are all sorts of insurance factors that dictate its usage not to mention Tim's own awareness of it value which brings limitations as to how much you want to use it, the mileage/depreciation factor etc etc. Cars like the Ford GT, SLS Black, Senna etc were very special cars, looked wild and because they came into a more supercar rather than hypercar price bracket, the liability comes down a long way. There's also the way it drives - the unhinged mentalness of all that power and not being able to use it for more than a second or two on the road. So it's a car that you can't use on a track as it's too valuable but can't use on the road because it's too fast, too crazy and too valuable. Other than it looking cool, what's the point?

Could not agree more, fair play. The new sf90xx will be the same kinda thing and it is somewhat obvious that Tim’s buying a number of Ferraris to qualify for the xx car. Which is totally understandable as he wants an xx, can’t really blame him for buying Ferraris when the guy knows what he wants. BUT is the new vantage not a more tempting buy than the Roma? Is the 296 not just a trickled down version of the sf90? Is the puro not just an 812 with a bit higher suspension and more expensive and needless to say…uglier. Think there could have been more variety with car purchases for Tim’s content

Other than that the car constantly is in the shop at the manufacturer. So, besides the fact it looks mental, Tim is not actually able to look at it that often, because the car is being serviced in Denmark for the bigger part of the year.

As a Dane, formerly living my life very close to where the "Zenvo" is built in a small Factory (I sadly never met one!), I of course like the promotion of the car, unlike the British, Top Gear Show, which in spite of a Record Speed on their track, mostly used it to make fun of Danish built Sportscars! We also had the now late Ole Sommer, who made a serious version of an Ferrari/AC Cobra like car, built a many samples, as many other cars based from his Volvo Dealer Ship.
