Established in 1825, Vancouver is one of the oldest cities in the Pacific Northwest and has transformed into a thriving hub of local businesses and culinary delights. Esther Short Neighborhood: The Heart of Downtown
Esther Short is the vibrant business district at the core of downtown Vancouver. It buzzes with activity, featuring the famous Esther Short Park, a lively farmer’s market, and exciting festivals. While this area offers fantastic amenities like Little Conejo and Kiggins Theatre, housing primarily consists of apartments and condos, with very few detached homes available.
The Waterfront of Vancouver
South of Esther Short, The Waterfront stands as a $1.5 billion investment, reshaping Vancouver’s landscape. It boasts a 7.3-acre waterfront park, luxurious hotels, and a variety of new restaurants and wineries. The scenic Waterfront Renaissance Trail connects the area, offering a picturesque stroll, along with summer concerts and block parties.

I used to live up there, and being from Utah, the weather felt pretty mild to me. By Salt Lake City standards, Portland seemed like it was either Spring or Fall all year, lol!

Yes! My favorite thing to tell people about PNW is you get to experience all 4 seasons and none of them are extreme. Just enough snow to enjoy the novelty but not be annoyed by it loll
