Driving Tour | Quincy, WV to Montgomery, WV to Kimberly, WV - Summer Drive

Hello! On today's drive we're taking a familiar trip down Route 60 until we get to Montgomery. We'll do a quick tour of Montgomery and then head into western Fayette county to explore some hollers around Kimberly.

i was born in montgomery in 1981 and traveled from kimberly to robson everyday to elementary school in beards fork. so many memories

I lived less than half a mile past that last gate when I was a kid back in the late 60's with my grand parents. I am totally blown away to see this footage. Wish you could have gone past that guard shack (was not there back in the day). Thank you.

I was born in Montgomery W.V. brings back memories... My uncle owned a big campground not far from there.

Gauley mountain rt 60, and deepwater mountain rt 61 are both beautiful scenic routes

as a matter of fact, you drive right by my childhood home of 13 years at 26:58. its on the right hands side, 2 story white house that's on what is now wallace drive.

I lived up hughes creek along time ago, used to hang out at ralphy's bar or shorty's in riverside, dam that was a long time ago. I miss home but its sad to see whats happened to it

A big reason I started making/posting these videos is because I will drive through my hometown every few years to see how things have changed. I figured some folks may enjoy seeing a glimpse of home if they've moved on. I'm still tryign to figure out why the video quality gets so much worse after I uploaded them to KZfaq! Hopefully I'll get that figured out soon. New camera and higher settings haven't done the trick yet.
