I just got a job to drive a school bus. I have to get my permit before the company will start my actual training, but your videos have been very helpful. I am hoping to at least go take the general knowledge test tomorrow. I am a slow reader and these videos have made it so much easier for me to comprehend the stuff i need to know.

When answering the question about slickest road surfaces, the example you gave was regarding wet ice being very slick but chose the snow covered as being the correct answer. I also googled it and got 3 different answers.

General knowledge is the only test on dmv or air brakes and combination

@CDLDrivingAcademy I live in Brooklyn NY just got my DOT medical card and I just passed air breaks I gotta do general knowledge over again because I failed that part it's only $5 but I soon be looking for a school that offers room and board once I get the class A permit

I got a question similar to question one that had protect the scene or the other answer was use the CB radio or cell phone to call for authorities and I chose protect the scene I got it wrong it was use the radio or cell phone to call definitely threw me off..every guide i looked at prior said to protect the area

The DMV is often times wrong with their answers ironically. When I got my learners permit back when I was 16 the test had a question saying "if you are on a highway covered in fog, and a car is coming up a merging ramp, who needs to yield?" Well I answered the car coming up the ramp because earlier a question stated all traffic merging onto the highway needs to yield to the traffic on the highway, well apparently I got tye answer wrong and it says YOU are suppose to yield to oncoming traffic which I confirmed with the DMV was incorrect. When I took the test again it was all changed around and alot of the answers I got right before were now wrong. Needless to say, the DMV is NOT exactly the best at giving accurate and safe information considering their own test kept changing answers. Took me 3 tries before I got lucky and made it through with all the correct answers. Let it be noted I knew all the answers and was right but they computer I was on both times was changing the answers to be incorrect.

In texas test they make you use AR 15s for measuring unit so always remember its around 3 feet best luck !
