You need to become 1 with the vehicle that you're driving. Get in it. Look at the perspective at objects (trees, fire hydrant, curbs, center divider, other vehicles, guardrails, etc.) from your point of view in the driver seat. Get out of the car & note how far is the distance between your car & the objects that you just noted when you were in the car. This allows you to go 60+ mph within inches of any objects. I was a beginner once, way back in 1988, so I know the feeling. Study the rules of the road, who has right of way. FYI freebie - when entering a roundabout, you must always yield to traffic already in the circle. Trivia - when can you make a legal left turn on a red light in the usa? Take it slow, practice in an empty parking lot. Get used to how your car turns, accelerates, decelerates. As with any machinery in life, boat, plane, train, you just need to spend thousands & thousands of hours in it in order to become 1 with it. Good luck.
