In this third part, we finish off the pedagogical component of our discussion on how Curry's paradox leads us to our beliefs on how area should behave, and how from basic principles we can find the areas of figures.

The angles calculated must be precise to give a pretty perfect answer.

There's just something wierd when u expand the formula, 1/2hb + 1/2hx doesnt seem to add up to 1/2h(b+x). slice 2 + 3 = 1/2h(b+x) slice 3 = 1/2xh but i'm having a tough time imagining 1/2hb is equal to slice 2. Seems like a technical/logical flaw in the mathematics we are so used to.

The line that splits the rectangle in 2 (d or pointA-pointC, dont know it's name in english). Doesn't it split it in 2 equal halves? One half is Triangle 1, then how could Triangle 2 be half the rectangle when the other half of it has Triangles 2 and 3 in it?

I always blamed the internet of being full of stupidity. Guess that's not entirely true.
