You hit the nail on the head this morning. 'Keeping a man' syndrome is common among 1. Women of advanced maternal age 2. Successful Single mothers 3. Majority of Kikuyu women We got to let a man lead his family and provide (spiritually, emotionally and materially ). It's difficult to provide, raise and submit to a man. Love doesn't thrive where there's no respect. Love is a VERB 😊

Going through this hell right now sister. I already told him to find his own place yet I don’t really see him doing it. He can’t afford rent living with me much less the beginning of another place where thousands are needed just for a room : first month, security, current month. I just can’t take it anymore it’s just not fair the lies how are first yea I’ll fully provide just to not even get half of everything you both share not to mention food & bills which is also expensive. This system doesn’t seem like it’s made for people to be happy. It’s like you choose your poison or happiness or money. I can make my own money alone without carrying his weight. I don’t know what to do anymore I fear him embarrassing me with other roomates to fight me bc I just can’t carry him like a son for almost free living and food and bills at my place. 😢

I don't know why women do this. I am 65 yo, I have never been married, but I have never lived with a man either, bcz I made up in my mind, even as a 16 yo sinner, that I would never live with a man if we weren't married & God has kept me. It looks so disgusting to me, even as a young girl.

But it's not just living with a man, even if your married, if you had that house before marriage, don't allow a man to move in, instead rent a house the man can afford and together the 2 can plan a buy a new house.
