Our university medicine professor taught us flow volume curve like ... If curve is looking like normal but small in size there will restrict disease pathology which is extraparenchymal and if curve shift towards right side then pathology is in parenchymal disease

Why would you do Doppler for CT PE. He is in need for emergent thrombolysis or catheter directed thrombolytic. I would rather do a quick echo see if rv lv ratio. Regardless he should first get anticoagulation before thrombolytics

Read page 2097 Harrison which says echo is not a reliable diagnostic tool in acute PE in italics. Book like that does not use italics just like that . Q is not on treatment .
