Are you saved? If you died tonight would you go to heaven or hell? The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. Although God's creation was created perfect, having no death, sickness and disease, the creation became corrupted through Adam and Eve in them disobeying God. In this rebellion the creation became fallen through the curse of sin and mankind became separated from God. This world is fallen, but God offers reconciliation to him through his provision at the cross. Ultimately God will restore his creation to perfection when he returns but those that who reject his offer of redemption will remain condemned by their sins and go to hell. John 1:1,14 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH , and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:10 KJV He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

In the final analysis and after considering tonnes of information on the subject - and after trying a plant-based diet for almost a year now, I have absolutely no doubt at all that a plant-based diet is what was intended for mankind. It is far kinder to our health, far kinder to our environment and helps to reduce the amount of terrible animal suffering in the industrial animal farming complex. Thank you for the wonderful video. Two great and humble men. Run well and truly against the grain of the medical establishment.

@@Bankai90 No it does not. There may be some sliver but not at the highest/systemic/broadest level. Most doctors/nutritionists still advocate a "balanced" diet that include meat products. However, things are changing albeit slowly.

@@sweetaznspice1 dk what your point is, most doctors are fat asf and less healthy than your average alcoholic on the streetcorner. The medical field gives you barely any room for any meat in the diet due to restrictions on sat fat and cholesterol when we talk about hearthealth. The difference is that the vast majority of people seem to do highly better on diets that are not promoted by science, me included. Did Esselstyns for 6months and wfpb with occasional wild caught fish and never felt as shit in my entire life. Despite careful preparation and kcalintake.

All I can say is Dr John I love you. Dr. Campbell I love you. It all started one day with Forks Over Knives. You men have changed my life, along with my husband's, also some of my friends and of course my mother too. So far I've gotten rid of acid reflux. My husband is doing much better as a type 1 diabetic. My mother is feeling so much better cuz she has so many digestive issues. And one friend came out of high cholesterol, he was over 300 when they discovered the problem. These men have taught the truth and have suffered professionally because of it. That alone says it all. My husband and I have started a plant-based lifestyle in our late 50s. We are hoping to live disease-free based on Healthy nutrition which we learned from you. Praying the Lord's blessings are upon you as you continue in your mission in life.

joyce adcock I've been following Dr. McDougall's diet for the last few months, took my blood pressure just now, it was 113/66. I do exercise, usually do an hour walk and if I skip that, I have a rowing machine and do some Zumba routines to get up a good sweat. I started my weigh loss at 199 and am now down to 160 lbs. I am 65. I have more weight to go, and that it does not come off really fast gives my skin a better chance to retract and not look so unbecoming. I'll see how I look in 30 lbs. Just from walking, my legs have developed some good muscles. And I wanted to congratulate you and hope you are well and are keeping well and eating right.

These are the two docs that i listen to the most these days. Mr Campbell for his quiet intelligence...he is like the poster person for how vegan eating helps one's brain...and what i like about Dr. Mcdougall is his blunt truth telling. A huge personal value that i share... and also , i really like the simple focus of starch as the main part of the diet. For some reason, this really hits by brain in a way that works. Otherwise i tend to be substituting tofu for the meat. Always looking for the "meat' or meat sub focus for the meal.. NO; forget about the meat or meat sub! Just eat the damn potatoes and vegetables and call that dinner! It makes me think about dinner in a simple more direct way that works for me.

I've heard that some women who try following the vegetarian diet had troubles with their periods (didn't come regularly or the schedule of their periods were messed up and so on). And I've also heard that not taking in any animal-based food will make you weak for e.g., not being able to exercise, lack of strength and energy, and etc. I don't intend any disrespect, I just want to know what are the pros and cons of being a vegan. Do you mind sharing your experience? Thank you!

@@NYGG hi I wrote that 5 years ago. I was already through menopause. I’m female and ate a mostly vegetarian and often totally plant based diet for most of 40 years. I’ve been all plant based for the last 9 years. I feel great and do very well forgoing meat and dairy. I’ve always had and have plenty of energy. As I’m going into my later 60’s I can tell I don’t quite have the same vigor I once had, but I’m not far off from it. I did have some menstrual cramps at times, but nothing unusual when I was younger. I feel that a whole food vegan diet in general is much easier for my body to digest, and get nutrition and energy from. It takes way less of a toll on a body. Less clogging. Good luck with your health!🍀🌿

It should be illegal for doctors to talk about surgery and drug options before nutrition options. However, it's been said a doctors wife/husband knows more about nutrition than they do. Even if they did though, the unfortunate reality is if you push nutrition and healing though food without drugs you risk the medical association taking your license from you; we definitely live in an upside down world. Healthier the patient, higher the pay is what the model should be. I'm very surprised insurance companies don't start their own food based clinics and watch the profits roll in from their lack of insurance claims. There was one thing these gentlemen did not talk about it and it's becoming the elephant in the room; with the instant access to all information ever created at our fingertips, the excuse of not knowing something is becoming just a lame excuse. This situation has created millions of people who now know the truth but yet choose to ignore it. The man who has kidney issues but refuses to give up his beer. The women who knows how diabetes is formed but yet doesn't lesson her sugar consumption. The man who knows cigarettes are unhealthy and cause cancer but yet continues to smoke. These people are not isolated incidences, these type of people are becoming the norm. "Yeah, I know I should but I really like my meat." "Yeah, I know soda is bad but I love it so much." "Yeah, I know I should exercise more but it's just so hard." Even if we had warming labels on soda, fast food, steak, candy, donuts and bacon, I still don't think the human eating disorder would disappear. Addiction is the underlining problem and this is what we must address. We must undertake a massive social transformation to aid our fellow man off the addictions which cripple his very existence. Food addiction, nicotine addiction, alcohol addiction, shopping addiction, gambling addiction, etc. etc. There is something missing in our lives and that empty space is always filled with some flavor of addiction.

Not to mention doctors' apologists who claim it's too hard for doctors to learn new things. All this information is readily available on the internet, but it's too hard for them. If it was so easy for me, why is it too hard for a professional in the field? And then the stories you hear about someone "miraculously" lowering their blood pressure and cholesterol with diet, and their doctor has zero curiosity for how, and dismisses them with, "keep doing what you're doing."

Agree with a lot of that but I don't think McDougall thinks sugar causes diabetes it's more the fat that's the problem. But I could be mistaken.

Sweet Potatoes and broccoli, problem is it's too simple. So all the other doctors, diet experts, nutritionists, health gurus, have to give a song and dance but they never quite hit the bullseye. So there it is, the bullseye, sweet potatoes and broccoli. (or starchy staples, vegetables, some fruit, close enough).

Brendan C. How many people do you know that where the doctor gave a diagnosis of dha or choline deficiency? First, the body makes its own choline so if your deficient in it then you probably need a liver transplant and you'll still do better with the vegan diet. On dha, it's possible to be lower than fish eaters or supplementers but no one has shown scientifically where that matters compared to vegans eating a whole food diet. But if your worried then you can take a little algae oil supplement or just sprinkle a little flax seed. No matter what your health issues are, you will do better with just sweet potatoes or grains and vegetables plus B12 and maybe flax or algae oil supplement. When someone says add meat, it means they don't know what they are talking about and will make the person sicker. Elevating protein maybe good for athletes with a fantasy for glory but not for long term health. So if your the person with a medical issue and scratching your head, the meat eaters of the world will always say eat more meat but you'll just get sicker if you listen to them.

The Artificial Society I supplement DHA/EPA and B12
@theartificialsociety3373

Eelke Aptroot yes there is still a bit of uncertainty about DHA/EPA supplementation. The algae oil supplements are a bit expensive but if you take just one capsule it shouldn't be much harm and may have benefit but that is still TBD for neurological health. If you take ground flax or chia that may also be good enough. But if you take too much of the omega3 oils it is a problem because they suppress the immune system which encourages cancer. And for sure don't take the fish oils as they are environmentally unfriendly, full of contaminants even after distillation and filtering, and unscrupulously produced with a lot of saturated fat and fillers. The research on this topic is only slowly coming so we'll see.

This interview s priceless! I have heard John McDougal countless times, in person , on his radio show, and on the internet. I thought I'd be bored - very wrong. Dr. Campbell's questions are spot on and different from others I have heard asked. Dr. McDougall is relaxed and this is one of his best sessions. Thank you.

I'm doing good 3 years running on the Mcdougall diet. I was down like 55 lb and then slowly gained 15 pounds over the past few months but I had to cut out the bread which I think is part of it. Eating whole wheat pasta and black beans twice or three times a day, I'm quite happy: also spinach, almonds, blueberries and bananas. I added some of the Greger daily dozen. I feel great. Just hiked an Arizona mountain with 1100 ft vertical rise and uneven footing on rocks. It puts me in the moment with all senses, doing something simple. I would have stopped 1/3 of the way if I wasn't on this diet. Thanks!

Thank you so so much i just adored listening to both of you. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for you in the past to speak loud this way of life and eating . Two great doctors telling the truth. Look at you 6 years later and i feel people are listening to you. I wished my parents would have raised me this way and me for my 5 teenagers . But they don't want to eat this way. So i do my best and I do the cooking. I follow you and Dr Barnard, Dr Gregor, Dr Esselstynt , Dr Desmond, Dr Newmann ...They will add want they want from what I cook. Thank you . Greetings from Switzerland.
