GTA vice City is one big Scarface reference.

Another famous movie I believe Rockstar took inspiration from fir a GTA V mission, is The Italian Job (mostly the original movie starring Michael Caine, but I guess some influence from the American remake) influencing the big con approach to the the final heist known as the “The Big One”… in which both revolve around criminals stealing millions worth of gold bars and escaping in modified getaway cars that rendezvous in the back of a truck/ bus. GTA using the Bravado Gauntlets whilst the The Italian Job used Mini Coopers.

The fire truck chase at the end of GTA SA is also partially inspired by the fire truck chase in the movie "Con Air"

Also Three Leaf Clover was quite inspired by Heat as well. The suits, the masks, etc., even when Eugene Reaper kills St. Michael is based on a scene from the 1991 film Point Break where one of the hostages kills a bank robber before being murdered himself. That also could be for the Pacific Standard Job as well. Also Breaking the Bank at Caligula's in GTA SA is noticeably similar to, and may possibly be inspired by, the 2001 heist film Ocean's Eleven.

gta 5 felt like a movie....

GTA San Andreas has reference to Menace II society, the soundtrack, the pizza restaurant where Ryder tries to rob & the employer says I feel sorry for your dad, in menace II society is a Korean guy that says I feel sorry for your mother. The npc with dreads looks like o-dog big smoke reminds me a bit of Stacey, CJ a bit like Caine, Ryder as himself mc eight. The ballas has reference to the guys who killed caines cousin Harold.

The Speed reference was also featured in a mission in the original GTA (the OG top down version). There was a mission where you had to drive a bus which would detonate if you stopped or drove too slow.

Michael is dressed exactly like De Niro in Heat with the grey suit. You can even get the hairdo and the goatee. His family dynamic with a criminal who sees a therapist mirrors The Sopranos. The entire washed out look of GTA4 is supposed to emulate HBO shows like The Sopranos, The Wire, and Oz.

The year of the Heat is 1995 not 1985

Watching this I definitely expect some references to Money Heist in GTA VI, considering how big the show was in the decade after GTA V

Seem to remember in San Andreas there was a scarface mission comparison to the part where scarface is like we don't kill kids and there's a bomb attached to a vehicle its been ages since I've seen the film but I distinctly remember thinking it was strait from the film

Gta 4 whole storyline is inspired by Russian movies called Brat(Both of them). Gta sa Tenpenny ending scene where he dies is straight out of movie training day.(character that Tenpenny is mirroring dies differently though) Og loc's interview on the radio is not from a movie but from an actual interview that Tupac had.(parody version of it. Its an interview that Tupac did when Dr Dre had just left death row records and in the background Suge Knight is standing. Whole character of OG loc is based on Tupac.)

Ken Rosenberg is literally a Sean Pen's character's - David Kleinfeld's rip off from a movie called - Carlito's Way. Some other scienes were taken from there also. For example Malibu club is heavily inspired by a club from this movie.

I absolutely despised that movie Heat. Like seriously, all the bad guys just bit the dust in the end, except for one lone survivor. It would be so much cooler to watch a crime flick where the bad guys actually outsmart the cops and successfully make their grand escape.

in an ironic way, I really appreciate the fact that, like a normal person, if you try to create something or post something and without knowing something that already exists you risk being sued or worse, rockstar does this without any kind of problem and not only that they do this thing, they copy facts and things in proportion of 85-90% and they don't even pay taxes for such a thing, this denotes the fact that we live in a corrupt world just like rockstar in proportion of 85- 90% , sorry for my english but i think most of u will understand what i tried to say . I don't want to be misunderstood, I have nothing to do with rockstar or anyone, it's not my problem, but the fact that no one sees these things or sees them but doesn't interest anyone, affects us all indirectly and then we complain that things are not or don't go as they should, that's what I always disliked in this world
