Drogheda Town is situated on the southern end of the smallest County in Ireland, County Louth. It sits on both sides of the River Boyne on the north east coast of Ireland. It has a population of over 40 thousand.

Thanks! I’m from Drogheda but live in Philadelphia now- sorry to see West Street looking so empty! Great history of the town in the 70’s! It was much the same in the 60’s!

Thanks for a little glimpse of "back in the day," Very interesting Don. We had Woolworth's here in Canada as well. Obviously not around anymore but had some fond memories as a kid there. Cool tour of Drogheda

Hey Don. Greetings from San Diego. It,s a while since i was back in Drogheda. Really enjoyed the video. Wasn't the dairies on the Dublin road originally called the Drogheda and Dundalk Dairies, or DDD for short. . Just curious, what line of work were you in , in your working life? Best regards....Liam
