Chris from PFS using the AEE Condor Fishing Drone with Newton 3 Drone Release system at a drone fishing demo at Uretiti Beach, north of Auckland New Zealand
The Condor Drone Fishing setup is one of the easiest fishing rigs to use, and is the ideal drone fishing setup for anyone, from beginners who have never flown a drone, through to those who have experience but want a safer system to use.
Here we are using the Okuma Makaira 30000 Spin Reel, and the Daiwa Tanacom 1000 electric reel out to 800m, and powered by a lithium battery pack which straps to the rod. Links to all products are below.

Have you had a drone nose dive into the sea? So they sink? So it's all over then?

If you don’t calibrate it, you do risk losing it. Many drones with electronic release mechanisms are lost or damaged by water as any tangles while setting catapult the drone into the water. The Condor uses a tension release, meaning any tangles will result in early setting of your gear, rather than losing the drone.

bonjour j'ai vue votre vidéo et je tiens à vous préciser une chose très importante voilà il s'agit de la longueur de votre attache qui va du drône au plombs elle est trop courte il faut 3m pour quand le drône câbre en s'arrêtant quand la ligne se mets en tension que les hélices ne viennent pas rejoindre la ligne ! ! la ligne avec les appâts et les plombs doivent impérativement être loin des hélices donc vous devez l'attacher avec le fil qui va au drône à une longueur de trois mètres !! et il n'y aura pas de risques que le drone tombe à l'eau et en faisant de cette façon il n'y aura pas de balancement du plombs puisque c'est la ligne lideer qui est tendu à 3 M du drône qui gère le mouvement du plombs ça ne tire que le fil sur le moulinet et tour est équilibré

Bonjour, car le poids est si proche du drone, et attaché par un fil rigide, le risque dont vous parlez est nul. Nous avons maintenant réalisé avec succès des dizaines de milliers d'ensembles comme celui-ci, sur de nombreuses années. La façon dont nous l'avons configuré permet également aux plombs d'être le point le plus éloigné de la tige, ce qui permet de mettre la tension sur toute la ligne. Une ligne serrée attrape plus de poissons. Hi, because the weight is so close to the drone, and attached by a stiff wire, the risk you speak of is nil. We have now done tens of thousands of sets successfully like this, over many years. The way we set this up also allows the sinkers to be the furthest point from the rod, allowing tension to be put on the entire line. A tight line catches more fish.
