Love the use of the drone. I wanna use mine but there is a US air-force base about mile away. Restriction on air space. And you have the beach to yourself ! Cool

Nice vedio regardless,with no fish,I hav a mavic pro and I hav the gannet bait release system,it’s the best and safest for your drone,don’t use any thing else you could lose your drone

My mavic 3 cine had software glitch, plummeted into ocean, line broke, 5k drone gone, DJI is not taking responsibility, blaming pilot error, they stated "its not allowed to carry any weight with it" i carried less than 100 grams of weight, some how drone thought i was on land and black box data showed it forced landing, but it didnt show on my rc controller any forced landing, it just changed its flight into vertical trajectory and spirallled down

If I were you I’d get a second hand drone off market place/gumtree and purchase a fishing line mechanism online. Phantom 3/4 are pretty cheap these days, maybe look on eBay or online for a release mechanism that suits the drone and you’re set!

How does the mechanism for holding the line work?

It’s just a L shaped wire that is taped to the bottom of the drone. When flying out the L shape wire won’t release the fishing line until you aim the drone at your fishing rod. Hard to explain haha
