The footage of the soldiers of the invading Russian army attacking a Russian army position has been spread. @@zakjuly6721 pues no, no están ganando a ningún vehículo occidental ni ucraniano, por muy exitoso que haya sido este asalto. Esos vehículos son una medida de fortuna y si los están usando es porque en ese momento no tenían vehículos más apropiados a mano, o era un asalto tan suicida que antes que perder un BTR o similar han decidido usar esos vehículos. No me extrañaría que las tropas fueran de alguna unidad "prescindible", algún batallón de castigo o similar.

Tienen peso más que suficiente para hacer estallar una mina antitanque (the Desertcross 1000-3 has a load capacity of 550 kg, a total weight of 1600 kg) con entre 150 y 200 kg es suficiente. Incluso sufriría daños y posible inmovilización del vehículo, así como heridas leves a algún tripulante si hiciera estallar una mina anti-persona.

drones blow up all armored vehicles, so there is no difference if you are in a bare field or in an armored personnel carrier, so it makes sense to take faster transport to get to shelter before the drone arrives, which they do

Deploying smoke screens in a high wind isn’t terribly bright.

You obviously know nothing, depending on the windstrength dictates the rate of fire. intially you fire a few rounds with a high rate of fire to build up the smoke screen and then adjust the rate to keep it "Stoked up" so that it is effective. And besides that impacting smoke round might have been a Ukranian adjusting round from an artillery battery or mortar platoon. When it is strong wind or fall of shot cannot be seen easily, it is better to use WP as it can be seen easily as the smoke, dust etc from a HE round can blow away before the fall of shot can be observed and a correction made. If it had been a Russian smoke round to adjust the screen or even to adjust HE onto the objective, then it should have been done before the troops assaulted and an effective screen built up or HE on the objective, not when the troops are assaulting and it could have landed amongst them, so it stands to reason it was a Ukrainian smoke round adjusting. I have fired many a smoke screen in strong wind and it is effective. Stick to your playstation.

ese es el problema, hasta el tanque estaba inmóvil dando fuego de cobertura, como si no temiera nada. La posición tampoco parece que estuviera muy protegida por la infantería, prácticamente no había respuesta, los dos vehículos han vuelto indemnes y no he visto que cayera ningún infante desembarcado. O quedaban pocos defensores o eran muy inexpertos y estaban cubriéndose evitando exponerse.

Otra posible opción sería que es todo una película para tratar de vender la idea de la utilidad de esos vehículos, que por otro lado, a mi me parecen tan útiles como cualquier vehículo ligero de operaciones especiales que salen al doble de precio.

Very smart and very fast. with very light vehicles backed up by a tank ! Now i see something have changed in the Russian tactics. In total the infantry was transported ( delivered) in less than 3 minutes. But in any case the smoke screen was too late and out of combat area.
