Drone Morgantown, West Virginia | West Virginia University | Monongahela River

Aerial drone flying over Morgantown, West Virginia and a couple parts of the West Virginia University show a beautiful city on the side of the mountain I flew from :) Also note the way the Monongahela River flows through Morgantown.

I love to drive throughout the world whether on the right or left with either left-hand steering or right-hand steering and of course I have become accustomed to using a stick-shift with both hands :) I truly enjoy the great food and discussions with locals where I have been blessed to travel. Included on this channel are some driving and snorkeling videos and even a couple bike rides I recorded.
You can also see my beginning drone videos looking at 2016 dates when I filmed in safe nature areas. I practiced how to crash safely, how to fly with three propellers and how to ground the drone and drive to it. I practiced in snow, rain and extreme cold to make sure I understood the drones limitations before I went to the big cities. I handle a drone like I do a gun and I truly hope others do the same.

I hope some of the locals see it and future students😎 I drove about three hours out of my ultimate direction for this and one other film in these mountains that day and I wish I could do this everyday.

@@JamesBeBop That's what what's counts. When you you go out of your way too do something. Sometimes that's when you find the one thing that that you weren't expecting. When my kids were younger and we would go on vacation and I would try to read the map and we would get lost that's when we would have the most fun. We would usually find something this is before I had a cell phone.. So when we got lost we got lost. that's when I usually pulled out the video camera or just to plan on camera. But you are a born wanderer. Who can't wait to see what is on the next horizon for next time zone!! You see things that others don't thank you James 😎! Kelli 🦋🐝

thanks for the beautiful video, visited 3/11/22 from beaver, pa, i moved to PA in 2012 from calif and this was my 2nd time in morgantown so i was not sure where this was, last time i visited was aug 2015, so it was a long time ago, my brother was visiting from calif so he wanted to go here and see WV U and he had never been to WV before, we drove around and ate lunch downtown, it was just my brother and i, and he is not into shopping, but i want to go back and visit hoot and howl, some antique stores with my husband

Hi James! Awesome view of Morgantown West Virginia. Home of Don Knotts from the Andy Griffith show. He went to College there. Several famous people are from there Yes due to the river winding the streets do to. I've been there half a dozen times. "🎼 Take me home country road🎶" Thanks a bunch! 👍💓

This was a longer drive that day to get this film; however, when I drove to the top and saw the view I would have spent an extra day if needed to film this😎 I originally picked a spot by the river and bridge, but this location was so much better for me.

@@JamesBeBop I remember it so well. It's beautiful all around Morgantown. As my ancestors settled in the area in the 1600s I felt at home there. "The Virginia's!" It brought tears to my eyes every time I arrived and left. I understand your feelings...😊

@@JamesBeBop If you drive on Hwy 19 from Morgantown to Fairmont it's beautiful.

@@JamesBeBop The New River Gorge is awesome. As is Beckley and Bluefield. The bridge gets fog on it and films beautiful. There's a Park there by the bridge. I have some great pictures!

@@JamesBeBop Mary Lou Retton the famous gymnast is from there! She has a street named after her. :) So glad you loved it there.
