My two best flights were not as much about the flights, but about the crash and recoveries. Flew a 7” from my house towards my closest town ( trying to see my friend’s restaurant) and suddenly lost connection. Crashed 1.2KM from my house in the middle of the woods on a mountainside. It took me two weekends, and the moment I gave up, taking a video for my friend saying “Im done looking for it.. oh wait” I saw it through my phone screen lying there on the ground. The other crash was a Mob6, which I crashed into a “Tibetan bridge” (hanging bridge) and dropped it 42 metres down into the canyon, with one prop flying off. No access to the bottom of the canyon (I tried everything, nearly falling twice into it). It was so far down, I could not really make out where it was honestly. I decided to go back the following weekend with a fishing line and a hook, as a last try. Fished it up first attempt. It had been nibbled on by some random animal too. It still flying, bringing me joy every day!

Whats the best simulator ?

@@cracklova3299 For me it is still Velocidrone, I don't have much trouble switching from it to the real thing, and the map editor is very good, most complete sim out there, even if the graphics are a bit outdated.

He was on it for at least the whole time I was there flying people around....4 hours... we noticed...lol...and introduced him to some key people like Zoetek. Let's just say he took off from there....

@@UAVfutures All you could see was a blur! I almost got hit a couple times just trying to time the walk through between rooms while they were travelling from one window to the other! I don't see how they do it, but I'm trying to get faster anyway!

I know flying, I know editing. what ever way this was acheived it was amazing video. I would bet 100:1 that this is a legit real video though.

@@UAVfutures maybe, but with today's editing software/hardware they can make just about anything look legit, look at Rotor Riots vids that many did not grasp were editing abilities more than flying abilities....whether it was or not And I been flying for nearly 3/4's of a Century and can fly most anything , and it looked good but again ," is it real or is it memorex"...if you are old enough to remember those commercials with that slogan. And no I am no editing whiz, BUT I have an opinion . like you and everyone else ...LOL

Not sped up haha. Yeah, there's lots of muscle memory involved. The video is also uploaded in 30fps opposed to the 60fps that I'm seeing because I no longer have a DVR that records 60 frames... I usually put around 15 batteries in per track.

have you ever flown an fpv racing drone? im not roasting you here. i would like to know, because until you have tried to fly one you cant understand how incredible this is. you can even see an OSD timer on their feed as well. any questions let me know. its a great hobby and we would love to have you in the air. its also tons of fun so if you ever get stuck feel free to hit me up for help.

@@UAVfutures I feel exactly the same way while watching most of the professional whoop races this season. The commentators are hooting and hollering over expensive flashy obstacles that are meant to disorient pilots, rather than challenge their flying skills. The courses are built with the intention of creating a video game like environment that is more dependent on pilots making errors rather than slicing another second off of smooth laps. Up, left, left, up, down, right... repeat, is not racing. Thus pilots learn to repeat muscle memory actions. That is not racing.
