Drone Racing Raw Flight QAV250 vs. Storm Racer

Awesome weather today left us with nothing better to do than drone racing fpv in the park. I was flying the Lumenier QAV250 on 4S and another friend was flying his Helipal Storm Racer on 3S.
Setup:
QAV250 Carbon Fiber Frame
CC3D
KISS 18a ESC's
Cobra 2204/1960 motors
5x4.5 Bullnose HQProps
4S 1300mah Tattu battery
Taranis D4R-II receiver
Taranis X9D (external antenna mod)
600tvl Sony Super Had Board Cam 2.1mm lens
Fatshark Dominator V2's w/goggle mod

Same here, watched over and over again, showed my friends. This one together with "FPV Racing - Crash Session!!!" brought me into the hobby. ..and they are still awesome to watch! (although seemingly impossible at the time, now it's all about finding a spot without people) Thanks!

One year ago I was inspired by this video and poured my life savings into this Hobby. I never looked back! unless i was doing Powerloops. I still find this video one of the most entertaining racing footage to date. Just add music and it would be complete!

this s by far one of my favorite FPV videos!!, After watching this i went out and purchaced my first FPV drone I got the STORM upgraded to 4S and threw on the 6045 gemfans. Also picked up the FatSharkHDs, I had to upgrade to a stronger transmitter and better cam. having a blast only wish others around here raced!!

I live in Happy Camp, Ca. Just a stone throw away. I'm still in the beginning stages of FPV racing. I'm using the Walkera Runner 250 as a starter. I'm looking forward to making new friends who want to race or share stories or ideas. I will be building my first soon. Love watching this video. So freakin fast and looks Jedi.

Yup. And getting the hang of it means flying for months and months and using a simulator as often as possible. Then maybe you can do what's in this video. Not easy at all. But very fun
