I think the size of the viewing lenses (massive) looks like its best feature... compared to dji fpv goggles these lenses make those look tiny!

My fav feature would probably be the fact you can get more immersed when flying just a camera drone rather than viewing it from a distance in your hands and viewing the outside world with your own eyes

Nice review & it sure looks like something I could use, like you I too own a sun shield but it doesn't always help. This looks like it might be worth looking into. If I don't win then I suppose I will save up & get one. Too often camera drones of the past get forgotten about so it's nice to see you thinking about all of us who can't always go out & buy the newest greatest drone. Thank you & keep up the great work!

Great idea for camera drones. I wonder why it took so long for something of this level of quality to finally come out. All those other box goggles I see in the other comments are very low quality in comparison.

There are actually a few features that I like of DroneMask, but my favorite is probably the ability to wear glasses while using these goggles. I also like the huge screen view and the push-pull option to be able to focus for a clear image. I have a drone that requires a smartphone to fly it, and I don't fly it that much because of the glare from the sun on the screen makes it harder to see and I have to hold the phone that's mounted on the controller, relatively close to my face to see the screen; which puts the controller in an uncomfortable position. This is a great idea, great video too.

I have tried quite a few box syle goggles that allow a phone to be put into them. I may actually try these to see if I can get that fpv experience out of my camera birds. I haven't found a set yet that isn't awkward as can be yet.

Quick question just curious while watching..Why keep the silica gel to keep dry? I always toss those witg the packaging. Is it a storage thing?

It might get shipped to a part of the world where the humidity is high and sit in a warehouse. Those packets are to protect the canvas material. 😁

I think this is so much better than the fpv drone with goggles for 1 you can use it with your drone or to watch movies or if you have remote play for your Xbox or playstation imagine playing resident evil with this it will really make the experience much better and also it's a very simple idea there's no special apps you need and it's not a bunch of technology it's just cloth and a lens I'm definitely buying one to use with my mavic 2

Hey Albert, maybe a silly question but can this be used ALONG WITH another device for flying? Kinda hard to explain what I mean but suppose I want to fly my drone normally (I use a tablet) but I also want a friend to get a fpv perspective, can he use these at the same time that I'm flying normally? In other words using some kind of cable splitter for the two devices? (dunno if "splitting" is even possible with these data cables)

I haven't tried anything close to the high level these are. They might be the only ones in this class. There are cheaper ones with bad lenses and no focus adjustment. I have not tried those.

I use my touch screen easily when wearing these goggles,don’t zip up if your not sure your going to be using it or not,,everything is the same only in a different place,,it’s like driving a different car for the first couple of times.

i cannot tell you how many times and how many different materials i've used to block light leakage around my big honkin nose. 👃 and forgive my lack of following the subject matter, but is that an LG Velvet or OnePlus 10? nevermind! camera looks waaay nicer. lol

Pretty nice looking goggles, Albert! Great review! 😃 I have a cheap VR Box and I already did FPV with it... To tell the truth, that's how I started! And works nicely, although the USB RF receiver (the one from Eachine) can have pretty high latency depending on the smartphone... So, it worked well with my Note 3 and 4, but not with my J Pro. 😕 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Great concept but implementation sucks for the current generation of DJI mavics that utilize the DJI fly app. If full auto is fine for the user then no biggy, but those who like to dial in their camera settings, no go.

Just adjust the settings before you take off which is what I did.
