A documentary series about H.M. Queen Ingrid in six sections.
Queen Ingrid as queen.
In this section, which is about the period 1947 to 1972, the crown princess will finally be queen. When Christian X dies and World War II is over, a whole new era begins in the royal family's life and in Denmark. We are traveling with the regent couple to Greenland and Africa, as well as seeing the three princesses grow up.

Hello eveyone, you know I make everything possible to get the subtitles but as DR has taken down the programme, I am afraid I can't provide subtitles for this program and the remaining 3. Please let me know if you want me to upload the other 3 parts of this series, taking in count there will be no subtitles.

I so agree. It is enthralling. Quite by chance that i came across this episode as there is no number as with Episodes 1 and 2. What was the title of Episode 3.

En sak jag tycker är fascinerande är att höra skillnaden på Ingrids danska genom åren. När hon pratar om sina stiftelser här 1960 lyser svenskan igenom väldigt starkt trots att hon länge, länge har varit i landet. Men tjugo år senare, vilket man ser i en annan del av dokumentären, så hör man inget spår av svenskan alls! Jag är nyfiken på hur danskar uppfattade hennes danska?

Why did DR “take down” the program? I’ve been looking forward to seeing the rest of these videos and reading the English Subtitles!

The program is from 1996 and they were broadcasting it again about a month ago, that’s where I got the subtitles from (DR TV) but now it’s now on their archives as it was when it was broadcasted from the first time - without subtitles - so I cannot get them

Does any of the 6 parts show Queen Ingrid speaking in English? I'm just curious because I have never heard her speaking in English as I suspect she would have a very cut glass English accent.

Ingrid spoke English. Next. But she preferred cooking while you ate. Or enjoying what you ate in her galley. Then I'd pop back out her back deck door. Sometimes she'd leave me to a few cycles in the sauna. Dannebrog.

I am sure she spoke a great English her mother came from UK.and she visiten her familie manny times
