The mushroom shaped end (non drive side of the cylinder) may be held on with another roll pin , have a good close look also see if you can make out any signs of a thread around the spindle, as it looks like the main shaft withdraws from the drive end, no need to drill a hole to access the recessed pin. If the bottom block rod is siezed then heat and cold cycles help, I spent 3 months trying to get the spindle out of a Marquis 20 inch land roll which was corroded solid! I won in the end😅

Good evening. Well a Gold star for you. Soon after the Video , i had another go at it. The none drive side with the mushroom shaped holder, did have another small pin to get that off the shaft. And again like the drive gear side another pin going through the cylinder bearing housing stopping the bearing retainer coming out and exposing the bearing that end. If i had drilled a hole in the drive gear side to get the small shaft pin out, it wouldn't have made any difference as there was another pin behind the bearing its self. Dronsfield Bros certainly like there Pins!!! I will do a video next week of it in bits. Thanks for your comment.
