There is a version of Crosby Stills & Nash 4 + 20 that can be played a bit easier with drop D and fingerpicking. Sounds really good.

Great Job! I find myself switching to Drop D for a few days (or even a full week at times) whenever I'm in a bit of rut with my guitar playing. Loosens me up and helps get me back in the right mindset for practicing and creating new stuff.

@@Gymrat1530 thanks for that link, I didn't realize it was 2 years old. I'm just starting to learn it. You do a nice take on it, if you've played it for 2 years I'll bet you've added some nice personal touches to it. That's something cool about Active Melody, you don't have to play it exact, it actually inspires and promotes creativity. Btw, gorgeous guitar and great sound. 👍

sweet. what kind of amp and reverb settings you using?
@Gymrat1530 Жыл бұрын
Thankyou. There was no amp. This is one of Yamaha's Trans Acoustic guitars. It has an actuater in it that interacts with the sound waves and the resonance of the wood to produce reverb and or chorus.
@@Gymrat1530 wow very nice. Im a big yamaha fan. i have to check that model out. sounds pretty!

Keep reworking it. You have something to go with but it's like your lost looking for for more substance and it's needed. Don't stop but my suggestion is get the repetitive ness out of your head to make way for what needs to be added and play around with it and you may nail it. If you've ever written a song it's likened to searching for just the right missing lyrics and sometimes it's frustrating and only time resolves it.
