just to clarify, vasectomies are reversible! after reversal men are like 60% as fertile, so it’s harder but possible to still conceive!

Both are reversible. It’s not without risks. And 60% is all good but if the girl has some issue which makes it hard to get pregnant, that 60% is going to make it virtually impossible to get pregnant. It’s not something you do lightly. People on here act like it’s a little, non important decision to make and men should have it done because it’s “reversible”. My advice. If you’re not 100% sure you don’t want any kids(anymore) don’t do a vasectomy. And if both are sure of it. Both man and woman let them be “fixed”.

Tube tying is technically also a “snip,” like vasectomy snips the vas deferens which are male tube equivalents. In relatively rare cases, people’s tubes grow back together (the body repairs itself). The tubes could also be surgically reconnected but there’s no guarantee you won’t have issues with scar tissue.
