Progress update on my 2024 Young Bird Team. Birds are sent from all over the country to compete for the champion bird in the loft. The races start on the 4th Saturday in August. Follow along as we add a few more pigeons to the team.

Congratulations on your daughter getting married and we appreciate the update always just made my first you tube video on my very first couple pairs of birds got some staf van reets from McLaughlin lofts and some other really good genetics just learning so all your videos have helped me a lot🙏🏼😎🧬🎯

To be fair, the sun was not out yet, I was thinking maybe trying to avoid a hawk, but I didn’t see one 🤷 who knows, scraped a little on the chest but it’s fine 👍

@littleloftonthehill He'll be fine. These Devriendts are tough. He has two cousins that have come home from training tosses this year gushing blood from hitting trees and wires. One with a completely shattered femur and a bruise half the size of my fist. One more last year with a hole in him, the size of a 50 cent piece. They keep going. A couple berry stickers aren't going to distract him much.

@littleloftonthehill Funny thing is, you aren't the only one to ever have to chase one of my birds out of a blackberry bush. I finally nuked all the blackberries on my place this Spring because of it. Lol
