He's actually guarding the ball while slaying. Meanwhile his team is dicking around in other parts of the map or being dead. That being said, he could have held the ball more while "guarding" it alone without any teammates or enemies around.

@@mairuzo that's my point. In no circumstances when theres another option should this guy be holding the ball. He is amazing with his skills. But he must grab it during lulls if theres none to grab in his steid.

There was a moment he wiped 3 enemy’s giving him 8-10 seconds of ball but decided to “protect” instead

Yeah it always rubs me the wrong way when pros bitch that much about their random teammates. It’s like he was expecting them to be on par with his optic teammates

@@ElPersistente he dropped 72 kills precisely because he did not hold ball much. it's a self ego stroke. "IM literally the best slayer so by default I have to only kill and displace the enemy." people don't understand this is a team game, fortnite has softened this generations team play skills. believe it or not, killing randomly just to kill can cause players to put themselves in poorer positions. for example: lets say he and another mate try and go around the right side of the map to get behind the enemy who's going green or top mid. he pushes fast bc hes aggressive but teammate is not. he goes up and gets double teamed, he fires at one but thr second enemy circles back to defend, but because his team mate is more passive, they overwhelm his teammate while he tries to clean up his mess, he created. since he basically baited his own teammate, it puts the enemy team in a superior advantage/position, since they can now counter the right side, they push, knowing they downed his team mate. they overwhelm him and reverse the rotation. keeping the ball the whole time. he thinks bc hes amazing, (he is skilled yes) then everyone has to converge on him when he puts himself in sticky situations. this messes the flow of the team and the rearrangement causes them to die since they have to focus on where hes at, protecting him, instead of working as a team. knowing their places, strengths and weaknesses, and knowing when to advance and push the enemy to rotate the ball, is what increases chances for a win. not focusing on killing without much attention to objective. experience: was a four star general in halo 3 and played lan MLG tourneys back in the day. I'm not as good as he is slayer wise, but my situational and objective awareness is more adept. yes slaying has it's place, but at high level, everyone on your team can fill that roll when needed. not doing it indefinitely and complain when your team dies because they cant kill as effective as you.

Plus its a ranked match not an hcs lan so he's obviously just running around and not playing like a scrim. plus he wouldve still had upwords to 60 if he had scrap time

You cant “just tell”. There are hacks and scripts now a days that are minuscule and almost undetectable that doesnt make you a aimbot demon. literally modes in the cheat applications that have “legit mode or streamer mode” that makes your aim look legit lol. It just cranks the assist and sticky aim up so your aim is cracked but youd never know. Plus cronuses and strikepacks are still a thing yall they did not go away and they are not patched !!!!

Crosshairs placement, movement, and map placement are usually the main keys to halo

Learn how to combo weapons like pulse pistol and battle rifle etc. if you mix up your weapons it can be effective and use grenades

From what I experienced in diamond, it's almost impossible to derank or lose anything significant, meter decreased like 1 mm. Not trying to be cocky or anything, but I think the grind to Onyx is gonna be easier than something crazy like Radiant in Valorant.

i enjoy the time to talk to people who've played and enjoyed 5. I'm an og. started playing lan matches with halo:CE. enjoyed 2 and did the best in halo 3. it's interesting how because I got so connected with halo 3. halo 4 and 5 was just a let down. totally killed my will to enjoy the game. I feel like 4 was slightly easier. so maybe thats why I didnt like it much, who knows. that's cool that they're your favorite versions. glad to see the were still appreciated. ggs bro. on a side note, I actually enjoyed destiny 1s pvp even tho it was super unbalanced. (spells, ultras, weapons that were op) then destiny 2 dropped and I couldn't stand it. now infinite is here, I'm starting to enjoy the tactical, team based, skill heavy shooter that halo once was.

I switched to controller when I couldn't understand why I was getting stomped, accuracy went from 30%ish on average up to 60% the very next game. Was struggling to get 10 kills and now consistently get over 20. Never have I seen an fps in my 30 years that controller makes you better until infinite haha

Yep. It's the worst feeling when someone who is getting wrecked can still make you look bad because nevermind the aim assist they will have, there's the bullet magnetism that will 100% guarantee they win the engagement if they see you first

I heard there’s some issues with PC players using controller. I guess the game sometimes registers both the mouse and controller and affects the aim/shooting.
