Solve all 2022 roots of unity. I solve the root equation x^2022 = 1, to start off the new year. I do this the algebraic way by using difference of squares and nth roots, and the complex numbers way by using complex exponentials and euler identity and de moivre's formula. Then I plot the solutions on the unit circle

Since 1011 is not prime, would not the prime factors also work. X^1011=(x^337)^3=1 then 337 and 3 is also a part of the solution for the final expression as well as 1011, or am I wrong?

You're right but these algebraically determines solutions fall by the wayside in the wake of simple de moivres theorem analysis. The n roots of a number are easily determined by a circle in the complex plane with a radius equal to the principal real root
